I just received this from Andrew Willig which I thought members might be interested to read:
My name is Andrew Willig, and I am an independent filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Having discovered your society, I wanted to get in touch in the hope that you would be happy to inform your members about a project we are planning.
My producer and I are currently developing an adaptation of Idle Thoughts into a feature film as a romantic comedy. Over time we will be looking for Jerome K Jerome fans and supporters who will hopefully become our fans and supporters so that we can publicize and promote the film.
I cannot provide details of the project just yet, but wanted to know if you would be able to circulate this information to your members when the time came.
In the meantime, I shall get in touch with your membership secretary about joining your fine society.
